Faberco’s Commitment to Achieving the 95-95-95 Goals in the Fight Against HIV

At Faberco, we are steadfast in our commitment to supporting the global fight against HIV and achieving the 95-95-95 goals. In line with this advocacy, we recently convened a gathering of experts in the field of HIV to discuss the significant progress made over the past 15 years. This event underscored the remarkable advancements, such as the increased number of operational treatment hubs, the availability of comprehensive data for improved monitoring, and the prioritization of HIV as a government program. These milestones reflect our dedication to improving the landscape of HIV healthcare and ensuring that every individual affected by HIV receives the care they need.

The discussions delved into the real-world practices and challenges faced by healthcare providers (HCPs) in ensuring access to diagnostics and antiretroviral (ARV) therapy for patients. The experts shared their insights on the current treatment guidelines available in the Philippines and explored how international guidelines could be adapted to better suit the local context. This exchange of knowledge is crucial in identifying gaps and potential solutions to enhance the effectiveness of HIV treatment and care. Our commitment extends beyond mere dialogue, as we strive to implement actionable steps that address these challenges and improve patient outcomes.

Furthermore, the experts highlighted the necessity for continued collaboration and proactive measures to advance HIV healthcare. Potential actions discussed included increasing the availability and accessibility of diagnostics and ARVs, adapting and implementing best practices from international guidelines, and fostering a supportive environment for both patients and healthcare providers. By facilitating these discussions and promoting innovative solutions, Faberco aims to contribute significantly to the national and global efforts in achieving the 95-95-95 targets. We remain dedicated to our mission of improving public health and are optimistic about the future of HIV care in the Philippines.
