NEVIRAPINE

Nevirapine along with other antiretroviral medications is used in the treatment of Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) or Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (AIDS) infected patients with advanced or progressive immunodeficiency. Nevirapine is a non-nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor (NNRTI). It stops HIV from multiplying in the body.
